There are two different types of process printing: Process (cmyk) and Spot Process. Both are used to create more of a photorealistic result.
CMYK is design for white or light colored 100 % cotton fabrics, using 4 colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) blending together to create many colors.
Spot process also blends ink colors to create other colors, except it can be used on darker and lighter garments, and many different fabrics. It can also use more than the four colors Process uses to create more of a realistic result.
We use Spot Process 99.9% of the time when faced with more of a realistic type print.
